Landowners
Homes must be built in the right location for the scheme to be an asset to the village.
We work with rural landowners to bring forward suitable sites for the development of local needs housing.
Our schemes have been developed with landowner partners including farmers, estates, dioceses and builders as well as parish, district and county councils.
Rural exception sites
Affordable housing in rural areas is generally built on an exception site. An exception site is land adjacent to, but outside the village boundary and ensures that the homes built are forever for people with a local connection and can never be sold on the open market.
If you have a piece of land that you feel would suit affordable housing please do not hesitate to contact either your local authority or NRHA's development services officer directly.
